Copthorne Tara - Good rates
Just had a look and the Copthorne Tara in Kensington has pretty good rates, and is probably a good place to stay if you are looking to stay for a week. I know the hotel well from my ACIS days. It is just behind Kensington High Street which is great for shopping and eating. There's even a Tesco Metro nearby which will save you money.

Accommodation Info

Ah London. Home of the small hotel room. Not to worry, we've selected a couple good options for those looking for a place to rest their head. Kings Cross has a large assortment of accommodation - some good, some grotty - but we think these are pretty good and hold up in the size and comfort categories. London can be expensive for hotels so we've given a pretty good spectrum of choice:
Travelodge Kings Cross - closest hotel to the venue. Travelodge does what it says on the tin - basic and characterless rooms, but clean and central. This one is in a nice building and has only been open a couple years.
Travelodge Kings Cross Royal Scot - a little further up the road, and often cheaper.
Holiday Inn Bloomsbury - Nice rooms, and you can often get good deals on their website.
Generator Hostel - For the more adventurous type. That said, I use them a lot for work and even stayed here. Just completed a renovation. Dirt cheap and get a group of people together and share a multi-bed room. If you are interested in this option let me (Jim) know as I can get special rates here.
Premier Inn London King's Cross St Pancras - Like Travelodge, but with a moon in their logo.
Europa Hotel - Decent B&B down the road from our flat. Good prices and no doubt there will be events happening around here. Americans be warned: it's VERY British (read: smallish rooms and questionable decor) but the price is good and you'll see lovely Tufnell Park.
